Let mutual affection continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.  Hebrews 13:1-2

At Limestone Presbyterian, we believe that we are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in this part of God’s world. We are a people who go to serve — locally, regionally, and globally. How can we help you fulfill your call to serve?

Cherokee County Meals on Wheels
New drivers are always needed to deliver meals for the Meals on Wheels ministry. You can volunteer for one day a week, an occasional delivery, or for specific dates.

Salvation Army Soup Kitchen
Every other month, we provide a hot meal to local needy community members through the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen. Each time we serve, we have about 10 volunteers. Some prepare food in advance, while others serve the meals at the Soup Kitchen. Please let us know if you want to be involved.

Salvation Army Angel Tree
Each year at Christmas we “adopt” children and purchase presents for them. We buy needed clothing and coats, as well as toys to make their holiday season bright.

Salvation Army Bell Ringers
During the holiday season, you will see several of our members at local stores ringing the bell around the Salvation Army red kettle. This activity raises funds to support local families during the holidays and into the new year.

Mission Trips
We demonstrate our love of God by serving others regionally and globally on mission trips. We have served in the Charleston, SC area, in Honduras, and in the Dominican Republic. On these mission trips, we have worked in food pantries, built houses, and provided medical care. In the past, we have had youth mission trips, adult mission trips, and intergenerational mission trips. Announcements about upcoming mission trips are made well in advance of the planned dates.

At Limestone
There are many volunteer opportunities throughout the year at Limestone. You can offer to teach a Sunday School class for children or adults, lead crafts or music during Vacation Bible School, prepare a meal for a family following surgery or a death, sing in the choir or play handbells, or many, many other activities.
