Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. They shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shall stay green.  Jeremiah 17:7-8

Welcome to Treehouse Truths, a fun and faith-filled video series where kids climb up into a world of adventure, imagination, and unshakable truth from God’s Word. Each episode brings a new Bible lesson told in a relatable way through stories, crafts, and simple truths that help young hearts grow strong in Jesus. Rooted in Jeremiah 17:7-8, Treehouse Truths helps kids trust God, love others, and stand firm in their faith just like a mighty tree planted by the water. These short videos are perfect for children ages 5–12 during family devotion time and are fun for the whole family!

The Foundation: God Made Me

Treehouse Truth: God made you special
Verse: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” – Psalm 139:14

In the first episode of Treehouse Truths, we look at the foundation of our faith. We will explore how God intentionally made each one of us special and unique.

The Walls: Jesus Loves You

Treehouse Truth: Jesus loves you
Verse: But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.”   Romans 5:8

In the second episode of Treehouse Truths, we continue to build our treehouse, remembering one of the most important truths: Jesus loves us, even when we aren’t perfect.

The Roof: Talk to God Anytime

Treehouse Truth: You can talk to God any time.
Verse:  If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God…” James 1:5

In the third episode of Treehouse Truths, we remember that you can talk to God anytime, and I really mean anytime: morning, night, during class, in your head. You can talk to God anywhere, at school, at home, at church, or even in the middle of when you’re frustrated, or mad, or upset. God wants to hear from you.

The Ladder: God Is Always With Us

Treehouse Truth: We’re never climbing alone.
Verse: “Be strong and bold; have no fear or dread…because it is the Lord your God who goes with you; he will not fail you or forsake you.”  Deuteronomy 31:6.

Hmmm…how do we get up to our treehouse? We need a ladder or steps. Building that part of the treehouse can be difficult, but no matter what we are called to do, we can do it without fear because we know God is right there with us.

The Lookout: Shine God’s Light

Treehouse Truth: We are to shine in the world with the light of God’s love.
Verse: You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. People do not light a lamp and put it under the bushel basket; rather, they put it on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.’ Matthew 5:14-16

We have a treehouse! We are blessed — God made us and loves us and is with us and talks with us. But it isn’t enough to say that “we’ve got it.” As followers of Jesus, we have to share the love of Jesus. So we look out of our treehouse and prepare to share what we have with the world!

The Tree:

Treehouse Truth: Trees are a part of God’s good creation and a gift to us.
Verse: “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.” Psalm 118:23

We’ve built our treehouse…now let’s talk about the tree! How should we think about and care for and live with God’s creation? This episode brings our knowledge of God and our knowledge of science together to help us look at trees in a deeper way.
